1 Cup(s) Sugar
2 Eggs
1 Teaspoon(s) Vanilla
2 Cup(s) Flour
1 Teaspoon(s) Baking soda
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1/3 Cup(s) Buttermilk
1 Cup(s) Apple, chopped peeled
1/3 Cup(s) Walnuts, chopped
2 Tablespoon(s) Packed brown sugar
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Ground cinnamon
3 Tablespoon(s) Butter or margarine
Directions:
Recipe by: Sue Klapper Preparation Time: 0:55 In a mixing bowl,
creambutter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking
sodaand salt. Stir into the creamed mixture alternately with
buttermilk.Fold in apple and nuts. Pour into a greased 9 x 5 x 3 loaf
pan. Fortopping, combine the first four ingredients; cut in butter
untilcrumbly. Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 for 55 - 60 minutes or
untilbread tests done. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing to
