Ingredients:
1/3 Cup(s) Soy sauce
2 Tablespoon(s) Sugar
2 Tablespoon(s) Water
1 Tablespoon(s) Sherry extract
2 Garlic, minced
1 Teaspoon(s) Grated ginger root
1 1/2 Pound(s) Boneless beef top sirloin
Steak, cut 1" thick
8 1 x 1" cubes fresh, 1 x 1" cubes fresh
Pineapple
1 Green pepper, cut into 8
pieces
Directions:
Combine first 6 ingredients.Cut steak into 16 1" cubes;place in
plasticbag.Pour marinade over beef,turning to coat.Tie bag securely
andmarinate in refrigerator 6 to 8 hours or overnight. Drain marinade
intosmall saucepan.Cook slowly 5 minutes.Alternately thread 4 beef
cubes,2pineapple cubes and 2 green pepper pieces on each of 4 12"
skewers.Placekabobs on grill over ash-covered coals so surface of meat
is 3 to 4"from heat.Boil 15 to 20 minutes,depending on doneness desired
(rare ormedium),turning and brushing with marinade occasionally. Makes
