Ingredients:
7 Pound(s) Yams, boil tender cool
peel
1/2 Cup(s) Butter, divided use
1 Pinch(s) Salt
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Pepper
1/3 Cup(s) Honey
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Nutmeg
1/3 Teaspoon(s) Cinnamon
3 Pippin or Granny Smith
apples peel core
thin
1/4 Cup(s) Butter, cut squares
Mash yams with 1/4 c butter
salt and pepper.
Melt 1/4 cup butter with
Nutmeg and honey. Pour into
bottom of
Casserole and layer with
apples. Add
Mashed yams and top with
cinnamon and 1/4
Cup butter squares. Bake at
350~
For 45 minutes until
bubbling.
