Ingredients:
4 1/2 cups
2 1/4 Gallon plus 2 c warm water
1/4 Cake yeast
1 Cup(s) Warm water to dissolve yeast
1/2 Bottle rootbeer extract
Directions:
see belowMix yeast in 1 cup warm water. Let stand for 5 mins. In very
large pan,(I use my canning pan), mix sugar, water, and rootbeer
extract. Stiruntil sugar is dissolved. Add yeast mixture and stir
well. Usingfunnel, fill clean pop bottles leaving a 1 1/2 inch space at
top. Capusing capper. Store on side for about 2 weeks in cool dark
place, thenstand upright. Chill before serving. Make sure you use
regular soda pop bottles as the root beer as itworks builds alot of
pressure inside and could explode.Note: Rootbeer extract can be found
