Ingredients:
1 Cup(s) Water
1 1/2 Cup(s) Mint leaves
1 Cup(s) Honey
3 1/2 Cup(s) bourbon
Chrushed ice
Mint sprigs, for garnish
Directions:
In small saucepan, bring water to boil. Remove from heat. Add
mintleaves; stir until wilted. Add honey, stir until dissolved. Let
mixturestand until cool, strain and discard mint. For each julep,
combine 1/4cup bourbok with 2 tablespoons honey mint syrup. Pour
bourbon mixtureover crushed ice in frosted tumbler or tall glass.
Garnish with mintsprigs. Makes 14 servings. (Recipe from Southern
