Ingredients:
1 Pound(s) Medium size fresh mushrooms
6 Tablespoon(s) Margarine
1 Cup(s) Onions, chopped
1 Cup(s) Bread crumbs
1 Cup(s) Cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 Cup(s) Walnuts, chopped
1/4 Cup(s) Parsley, chopped
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Pepper
Directions:
Keep mushrooms cold and covered from light until ready to use to
preventdarkening. Rinse, pat dry, and remove stems. Set aside. Melt
margarinein skillet. Brush mushroom caps with margarine and place on a
shallowbuttered pan. To remaining margarine in skillet add onions and
choppedstems. Saute 2 minutes. Add bread crumbs, cheese, nuts, parsley,
saltand pepper. Stir lightly. Spoon into caps, piling high. Bake in
aprepeated 350 degree oven about 20 minutes. Yields about 20
