Ingredients:
1 1/2 Cup(s) Baking Butter, Mrs.
Bateman's Butterlike
softened
2 Cup(s) Granulated Sugar
12 Ounce(s) Evaporated skim milk
1 Cup(s) Egg whites
1 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1 3/4 Teaspoon(s) Baking soda
3 Cup(s) All-Purpose Flour
2 Teaspoon(s) Lemon extract
3 Tablespoon(s) Poppy seeds
1 1/2 Cup(s) Powdered sugar
2 Tablespoon(s) Lemon Juice
Directions:
Mix together the softened Bakin Butter, sugar and eggs until
almostsmooth. Add the rest of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Mix justuntil there are no more lumps, then stop.Pour into a
vegetable-sprayedBundt pan and bake in a 325 F. pre-heated oven for 55
minutes, or untila toothpick comes out clean. Immediately turn cake
over on servingplatter to cool.Mix the 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar and
lemon juice together until smooth,to make glaze. When cake is
