Ingredients:
6 Tablespoon(s) Butter or margarine
3/4 Cup(s) Cream cheese
2 Cup(s) Flour
1 Cup(s) Yellow cornmeal
2 Tablespoon(s) Oil
1 Onion, chopped
2 Garlic, minced
1/2 Pound(s) Ground beef
1 1/2 Tablespoon(s) MILD CHILI POWDER
1 12 1/2 oz. can chopped
Tomatoes
1 16 oz. can red kidney beans
drained
Directions:
To Make the Crust: Mix the butter or margarine and cream cheese
untilsoft. Mix in the flour and cornmeal to make a soft dough. Knead
lightlyon a floured surface. Divide the dough into 24 pieces. Press
each pieceinto a lightly greased muffin cup, forming a well. Bake at
350F for 20minutes. Heat the oil and cook the onion and garlic until
soft. Add themeat and chili powder and cook 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes
and beans.Simmer for 1 hour or until very thick. Spoon into the hot
cornmeal piecrusts and serve immediately. Serves 6 to 8 Typed in
