Ingredients:
3 Pound(s) Beef brisket, about
16 Ounce(s) Stewed tomatoes
8 Ounce(s) sauerkraut
1 Cup(s) Applesauce
2 Teaspoon(s) Brown sugar
2 Tablespoon(s) Cold water
2 Tablespoon(s) Cornstarch
Directions:
The ingredients sound a little strange but it is really good; hope
youlike it! Patti In 10 inch skillet combine undrained tomatoes,
undrainedkraut, applesauce, and brown sugar. Bring to a boil, reduce
heat. Addbrisket, spooning mixture over the meat. Cover and simmer
for 2 1/2 to3 hours or till meat is tender, spooning sauce
occassionally. Transfermeat to serving platter, keep warm. Skim off
fat from pan juices. Combine cold water and cornstarch, stir into
tomato mixture. Cook andstir until thickened and bubbly, cook 2 more
