Ingredients:
3 Cup(s) Sugar
1 Teaspoon(s) Vanilla extract
4 Medium-sized Bosc pears
Vanilla Ice Cream
CHOCOLATE SAUCE
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 F. Prepare a syrup by stirring the sugar in 1-1/2
cups water overmedium heat until dissolved & then allowing to boil over
high heat about10 minutes, without stirring. Flavor the syrup with the
vanilla extractto taste. Peel the pears & place in a baking dish with
the vanilla flavoredsyrup. Bake in preheated oven for about 1 hour.
Remove, cool, and chillthe pears. Serve the pears standing in a bed of
