Ingredients:
2 Cup(s) Chicken stock
2 Tablespoon(s) Soya sauce
1 1/2 Teaspoon(s) Minced ginger root, or 1/2
tsp. ground ginger
1 Garlic, minced
1 Cup(s) Long-grain white rice
2 Cup(s) Snow peas, cut into 1 inch
diagonal pieces-about 8
oz.
Half red bell pepper, diced
3 Green onions, chopped
1 Teaspoon(s) Toasted sesame oil, opt
Directions:
In a medium saucepan, combine stock, soya sauce, ginger and
garlic;bring to a boil. Stir in rice; reduce heat to low, cover and
simmer for20 minutes or until rice is just tender.Add snow peas, red
pepper and green onions. Cook, covered, for 5minutes more or until
vegetables are tender-crisp. Stir in sesame oil,if using. Yield: 4
