Ingredients:
1/2 Cup(s) Water
1 Teaspoon(s) Chicken bouillon
250 Gram(s) Chicken livers
1 Tablespoon(s) Shoyu
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Onion powder, dry mustard
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Nutmeg
1/4 Cup(s) Dry Sherry
1 Dash(s) pepper sauce
220 Gram(s) Water Chestnuts, drained
Finely chopped
6 Bacon
Directions:
In 1-quart casserole, combine water, bouillon and livers. Cook onhigh
4-5 mins until no longer pink. Drain. Cook bacon on paper towel on
high 5-6 mins until crisp. Crumble andset aside. Put livers, shoyu,
onion and mustard, nutmeg and sherry into foodprocessor. Blend until
smooth. Add pepper sauce sparingly. Stir inwater chestnuts and bacon.
Spread thickly on toast triangles or crackers. Prepare in advanceand
reheat by arranging on paper lined plate. Use med-high power 1-2mins
until heated through. Garnish with olive slice or pimento.Contributor:
