Ingredients:
1 1/2 Cup(s) All-Purpose Flour
2 Teaspoon(s) Baking soda
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1 Teaspoon(s) Ground cinnamon
1 Teaspoon(s) Ground nutmeg
1/2 Cup(s) Margarine or butter
softened
1 Cup(s) Granulated Sugar
2 Eggs
4 Cup(s) Finely chopped, pared
Apples
1 Cup(s) All Bran cereal
1 3 oz. cream cheese
1 Tablespoon(s) Margarineor butter softened
1 Teaspoon(s) Vanilla flavoring
1 1/2 Cup(s) Sifted confectioner's sugar, Sifted confectioner's sugar
Directions:
Sift together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Beat the 1/2
cupmargarine and the granulated sugar. Beat in eggs. Stir in apples,
cerealand flour mixture. Spread in greased 9x9x2 inch baking pan. Bake
at 350about 45 minutes or until done.To make frosting: Beat cream
cheese, the 1 tablespoon margarine andvanilla. Gradually add
confectioner's sugar, beating until smooth. Iffrosting is too thick,
add 1 to 2 teaspoons milk. Spread on cooled cake.Yield 12
