Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon(s) Vegetable oil
1 Onion, coarsely chopped
1 Sweet green pepper, coarsely
chopped
3 Cloves garlic, finely
1 Pound(s) Lean ground beef
1/4 Cup(s) Canned tomato sauce
1/4 Cup(s) Sliced stuffed green olives
1/4 Cup(s) Dark Seedless Raisins
1 Tablespoon(s) Capers
2 Tablespoon(s) Distilled white vinegar
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Sugar
1 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Black pepper
1 Jar, 6 ounces pimientos
drained and sliced
6 French bread, fried in oil

Directions:
Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and green
-pepper; saute until onion is translucent, about 3 minutes. Add
garlic;cook 2 minutes more. Add beef, breaking up with wooden
spoon. Add tomato sauce, olives,raisins, capers, vinegar, sugar, salt,
pepper and pimiento. Reduce heatto low. Simmer covered 20 minutes or
until thickened. Serve with friedFrench bread or rice garnished with
avocado if you wish.Nutrient Value Per Serving: 323 calories, 20 g
